The chair for "Peer-to-Peer Systems Engineering" at TU Darmstadt, headed by Prof. Dr. David Hausheer, has been newly established in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in May 2011. The research group of Prof. Dr. David Hausheer is active in several advanced communication systems research areas, including peer-to-peer and overlay networks, network virtualization and programmability, as well as related economic aspects. At this stage, the group’s major focus is on economic and energy-efficient management of networking resources in fixed and mobile network infrastructures.
